Intern Spotlight: Sutton Dunn

AM Transport Services is committed to being part of and serving the larger community where we are located. To this end, we volunteer, support the CEO program at the high school, spend time with kids involved in the 5th block program at the middle school, and offer paid internships to high school and college students.

We’ve been extremely lucky with our interns, strong students and community-minded kids who are not only curious and hard-working, but also genuinely fun to be around. Right now we are lucky to have two interns in the office. This week, we introduce you to Sutton Dunn who started working at AM Transport ten months ago. Sutton is 20 years old and a sophomore at Olney Central College. We’re lucky to have him–he’s funny, bright, and fun to have in the office.

What do you do at AM Transport?

As of right now, I’m a Carrier Representative. However, I have also worked as an SDR (sales development representative).

What is your favorite thing about working at AMT?

My co-workers. Everyone treats each other like family.

What will you do when you graduate from Olney Central College?

I will be transferring to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

What are you studying in college?

Exercise Science is my major. After I get my exercise science degree, I am looking to become a physical therapist through a graduate program.

Do you have any siblings?

I have two sisters. Maci and Sydney. I am the youngest and the favorite, of course.

If someone gave you an elephant, what would you do with it?

Treat it as a new vehicle and ride it around the town.

Tea or coffee?

Coffee. Working at AM Transport has turned me to the dark side in drinking black coffee.

If you could pick an actor to play you in the movie version of your life, who would you choose?

Tobey Maguire. Period.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?

Never microwave a metal bowl or else you will be spending $100 at Walmart. This advice was given by me, myself, and I.
