20 Jul Intern Spotlight: Seth Ingram
As you know, we love our interns here at AM Transport Services! And why wouldn’t we; after all there are so many great young people in our community. We really enjoy getting to know and work with just a few of them each year. This week, we’re introducing you to Seth Ingram, the newest intern to join the AM Transport Family! Seth started here in June, and he hit the ground running!
How old are you Seth?
I am 19 years old.
What are you doing at AM Transport this summer?
I am a carrier representative. I currently do plenty of check calls and have started booking loads.
What is your favorite aspect of working at AM Transport?
My favorite thing about working at AMT is the group I am surrounded by. I also very much enjoy the fast-paced work environment.
Where and what are you studying in college?
I am a student at Indiana University in Bloomington, and I’m currently studying Chemistry on the pre-med track. I also hope to earn a minor in business.
Color: Blue, no other options are even close.
Sports team: The Fighting Illini along with Hoosier basketball. Definitely a weird combination, but I consider it alright as long as I continue to oppose the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Television Show: Hmmmmm, I don’t necessarily watch any TV shows, but I do watch plenty of sports.
Favorite Music: Anything including Kanye West.
Podcast: I have yet to listen to any podcast, but I would probably enjoy anything sports related.
Food: Steak, chicken, etc. Anything meat related.
Vacation spot: The best trip I have taken was to Spain and Morocco. However, I also love going to the beach or sightseeing in the summer and doing some skiing in Colorado.
Tea or Coffee: Neither.
Do you have any siblings?
I (un)fortunately have only sisters. Four of them!
If someone gave you an elephant, what would you do with it?
I’d definitely offer it to Colby for the Pumpkin Patch (for the right price).
If you could pick an actor to play you in the story of your life, who would you choose?
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
Not technically advice, but definitely something I’ve been implicitly taught: Work hard for what you want while always caring for and helping those you keep close.
