Intern Spotlight: Ethan Rodgers

Intern Spotlight: Ethan Rodgers

It’s officially fall, and to kick off the autumn season, we’re introducing you to our new intern, Ethan Rodgers. AM Transport has been working with interns for years now. We have so many great young people in Richland County. Our internship program is a great way for us to get to know them. And we love teaching them about the transportation industry. Did you know that transportation and transportation-related industries employ 13.1 million workers in the United States? That’s 9.1% of the workforce. And that’s why we’re always happy to welcome young people into the transportation and AMT fold.

Ethan Rodgers is 18 years old and a student at Olney Central College. He’s started at AM Transport about three weeks ago

What are you doing at AM Transport, Ethan?

So far I’ve been doing DAT and Google Reviews, reaching out to carriers on preferred lanes, and most recently putting spot loads into our system.

My favorite thing is probably the environment and all of my coworkers.

Yes, I have a younger sibling who is 10.

Definitely sweet tea.

If you could pick any actor to play you in the story of your life, who would it be?

Adam Sandler because his movies are the best.
