My most enjoyable moments on the job . . .
My most enjoyable days in the office are when we have cookouts and carry-ins. There are a lot of talented cooks in the office and we always have a ton of good food.
Something I’m passionate about . . .
Cooking!! I love to cook. It does not matter what kind of food.
My favorite subject in high school or college . . .
I enjoyed all of my vocational classes. Mr. Murray and Mr. Eyer were fantastic teachers.
My favorite AMT activity . . .
The golf outing. It is always a blast to go out and enjoy the outdoors with all of your co-workers.
One of my favorite things to do on my time off . . .
Woodworking. I really enjoy building something cool out of wood. I recently built a TV stand for our living room out of 2x4s and 100-year-old barn beams. It turned out really great.
If I could live anywhere in the world . . .
Somewhere like Colorado. This could be overseas as well. I love the outdoors. You could go hike in the mountains in the spring/ summer and snowboard in the winter. If I lived somewhere tropical, I would miss the changing of the seasons.
My favorite food . . .
BBQ. Im not picky. I like brisket, pulled pork, chicken, or sausage.
My favorite way to unwind is . . .
Find something to do outside. My family loves to go walk around in the woods. We really enjoy it when we have had quite a bit of rain and the creeks at our house have water in them. The kids love to go exploring.
The restaurant I like to go to most often . . .
The Gabby Goat in Effingham. I would like to eat there more often then I do. Everything I have tried in there has been good. My favorites are the steak bites and catfish bites.
If I could fly anywhere in the world today . . .
United Kingdom. We watch several show on the BBC and it would be cool to run around over there.
Someone who inspires me . . .
My parents. They are some of the hardest working individuals I know. They taught me to have a strong work ethic.
The funniest thing that’s happened to me recently . . .
That is a good question. I would say tripping. I am notorious for yelling “look out” when I am falling.
My best friends call me . . .
When I grow up I want to be . . .
A chef . . . but I don’t want to be tied down to a restaurant. A chef with a food truck.
